A pulley is a simple machine that helps people lift and move objects. There are three types of pulleys, single fixed pulley, moveable pulley and compound pulley. I think a compound pulley is the best because it is a single and moveable pulley put together.

***CHRISTMAS BREAK***

I had a great Christmas break this year! Santa brought me the gift that I really wanted -- A DIRT BIKE-- I spent lots of time with my family and friends and played hockey too!! The best fun I had was going snowtubing with my friends Nicholas and Michael in SnoValley.

I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can try out my new bike for the first time!!

I have learned that in Quebec people speak French as their first language and that Quebec has the largest forest in Canada.

***REMEMBRANCE DAY***

Remembrance Day reminds me of my great grandfather that was in the war. I thought the Remembrance day Ceremony was special. It is important to remember people who fought in the war because they sacrificed themselves.

***WINTER FUN***

I love the winter season...some of my favourite things to do are build snowmen, snowball fights, skating and tubing. Here's a picture of me and my brother at snowvalley tubing.
